About this vintage design furniture
Scandinavian-made table produced in the 1950s by Søborg and designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Molgaardt. Legs in solid conical turned wood. Circular plane with a strongly tapered edge. Good general conditions, some signs due to normal use over time. The table was originally extendable, the top is been restored and locked. Diameter 115.5 cm - Height 73 cm

About the designer
Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN
Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
