About this brand new furniture
The design "LC20 - CASIER STANDARD" bookcase by Le Corbusier, Jeanneret and Perriand was conceived in 1978 and is reissued by CASSINA since 2016. Based on the original system, Cassina offers a range of specific compositions, always in direct relation with the most famous combinations, while keeping a certain flexibility in terms of height, dimensions or colors. Cologne was in 1931 the opportunity to present these new avant-garde furniture that showed themselves as linear and elegant instruments for daily storage, with the will to continue beyond the formalism of the modern Movement. What Charlotte Perriand says in her account of this exhibition is a testimony. The Standard Lockers were revised by Cassina in 1978 thanks to an adaptation of Charlotte Perriand, and a second time for the reconstruction of the Pavilion of the New Spirit in Italy. This version features a floding table to use your furniture as a desk.
