About this vintage design furniture
This nice set of 4 dining chairs is designed by the Danish Arne Hovmand-Olsen for Mogens Kold Møbelfabrik. Model 71 made in Denmark, 1959. Teak wooden frame. The seatings of the chairs has been newly upholstered with black faux leather. The chairs are organic in their shape as can be seen in the rounded, almost branch like legs and the elegant open detail in the armrests.

About the designer
Egon A OLSEN
Egon A. Olsen was a Norwegian industrial designer who was born in 1922 and died in 2013. He studied design at the Oslo School of Applied Arts and began his career working for the industrial design firm Rastad & Relling Tegnekontor in the 1950s.
