About this vintage design furniture
Set of two basket chairs designed in 1951 by Swiss designer Gian Franco Legler for the Basket restaurant in Italy. This lightweight wicker chair with a steel frame and ergonomic seat- arm- and backrest in hand-woven rattan. This chair received the "Good Design Award" by the Museum of Modern Art New York in 1953. The wicker is in good condition and has no breaks.
