About this vintage design furniture

This set of 2 vintage Bauhaus armchairs was designed by Erich Diekmann for Gelanka. Diekmann was the head cabinet maker at the Bauhaus in Weimar, Germany. These patented design chairs were manufactured during the 1930s. They feature comfortable elastic seats and backrests. The frames are made from plywood. Seat height : 41 cm.
