About this vintage design furniture
Set of 3 Alvar Aalto stools model 60 designed in 1932-1933 and produced by Artek (Finland) in the sixties. Unlike Thonet, Alvar Aalto bended the wood using the natural moisture of the Finnish Birch (sawing and water) instead of steam. The seat height is 44 cm. These vintage three-legged stools are in good and original condition (see pictures). Source: book Alvar Aalto, Poligrafa page 121.
