About this brand new furniture
The PK25 was designed by Poul Kjærholm and produced by Fritz Hansen in 1951 for his graduation project at the School of Applied Arts in Copenhagen. The PK25, also known as "Element", because each material used is composed of only one element. The chair is made largely from halyard ropes (a material used for boat sails) attached to the steel frame of the chair.
