About this brand new furniture
The Grand Prix chair designed by Arne Jacobsen was presented by Fritz Hansen at the Spring Exhibition of Designers at the Danish Museum of Art and Design in Copenhagen in 1957. Later in the year, the chair was presented at the Milan Triennale where she received the Grand Prix - the most beautiful distinction of the exhibition. The chair is recently reissued either with a wooden base or with a chromed base. It is the chromed base version. A timeless design classic.
