Victor VASARELY

In Paris, Vasarely began experimenting with abstract geometric shapes and bright colors, creating an artistic style he called "kinetic". He also began working on design projects, creating fabric patterns and advertising posters for companies such as Havas and Perrier.

In the early 1950s, Vasarely began working on what would become Op Art, a form of abstract art that uses optical illusions to create deceptive visual effects. Vasarely's Op Art works were exhibited in galleries and museums around the world and influenced many artists and designers.

Vasarely also worked on architectural projects, creating motifs and designs for buildings such as Renault's headquarters in Boulogne-Billancourt, France. He received numerous awards and distinctions during his career, including the Guggenheim Prize in 1964.

Today, Vasarely's works are considered Op Art classics and remain popular with collectors and art lovers worldwide.
