About this vintage design furniture
Large bookcase manufactured by Rasmussen. Made of solid mahogany, bottom section on black painted base. Features 7 adjustable shelves, brass lined holes. Labeled by maker Rud Rasmussen. Height lower part 80 cm. Upper part 110 cm. Signs of wear consistent with age and use, scratches and marks. Height: 190 cm. Width: 212 cm. Depth: 25 cm.

About the designer
Jorgen RASMUSSEN
Jorgen Rasmussen was a Danish industrial designer born in 1931 and died in 2008. He studied at the Copenhagen School of Applied Arts and began his career working for design and production companies such as Fritz Hansen and Nordisk Solar Compagni.
