About this vintage design furniture
Aldo van den Nieuwelaar was a Dutch designer and architect. He studied at the Academy for Visual Arts in Breda and founded his own studio in 1968. His designs each show simplicity and clarity of form. Between 1972 and 1974 there where only 17 TC-3 lamps made. In 1972 there were 13 lamps made. In 1973 only 1 and in 1974 the last 3 where made. As this one is numbered with nr. 14 it is made in 1973.

Aldo VAN DEN NIEUWELAAR
Wim Van den Nieuwelaar was a Dutch designer, born on February 28, 1936 in Haarlem and died on February 23, 2019. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague and began his design career in the 1960s.
