About this vintage design furniture
Chair by Belgian designer Willy Van der Meeren. Made of black metal tubular chassis and original blue vinyl seat. Produced by Tubax in 1950. Has a nice original patina. Van Der Meeren is considered one of the most important Belgian furniture designers of the postwar period. This piece of Belgian social furniture was designed for schools in the early 1950s. Seat height: 40 cm.
