About this vintage design furniture
This "vase" is actually an umbrella Stand. Of course it can also be used as a vase. Decorative, large and impressive. Asymmetric, folded, straight ascending form, slanted mouth. Violet black glass, opal white and opaque cherry red underlay. Signed underside. Venini 90 Sarpaneva. Normal scratches only on the underside.

About the designer
Timo SARPANEVA
Timo Sarpaneva was a Finnish designer famous for his work in glass and ceramics. Born in 1926 in Helsinki, Finland, he studied at the Helsinki School of Arts and Crafts and began working as a freelance designer in 1948.
