About this vintage design furniture
Grey upholstered Gispen desk chair model 356 with four-leg base and bakelite armrests designed by W.H. Gispen 1n 1937 and made in the 1950s. The chair can rotate, and the seat height is adjustable from 48 up to 56 cm. Used condition (see photos); traces of a spot on the seat. Source: book Gispen tube furniture and lighting 1920-1940 page 18 and Gispen catalogue 1949 page 4.
