About this vintage design furniture
Danish wall lamps from the 1960s by Svend Aage Holm Sørensen for Holm Sørensen & Co. Wall lamps with an acid-treated and torch-cut sconce with a brutalistic design. Holm Sørensen is a designer who is more Mediterranean in his expressons than a Danish. His lamps had a typical retro expression in the 1950-60s, and lamps in the USA, Italy and France were slightly more sculpted or funny.

About the designer
Svend Aage HOLM SORENSEN
Holm Sorensen was a Danish designer known for his minimalist, functional creations. Born in 1938 in Frederiksberg, Denmark, he studied sculpture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen before turning to industrial design.
