Set of 5 metal superleggera style chairs attributed to Gio Ponti, Mid-century. These chairs where sold in the famous Dutch warehouse ’’De Bijenkorf’’. Gio Ponti totally redesigned the Bijenkorf in Eindhoven in 1969. The chairs are presented at a Pierre Chapo table which is available in another listing. W 42 cm, D 44 cm, H 85 cm, SH 43 cm

About the designer
Gio PONTI
1891 - 1979Gio Ponti (1891-1979) was an Italian designer, architect, writer and teacher, considered one of the most influential designers of 20th-century Italy. Born in Milan, he studied architecture at Milan Polytechnic University and began working as an architect in 1921.
