About this vintage design furniture
2 folding rocking chairs designed by Japanese designer Takeshi Nii in 1958. The chair was named ’NY’ after the designer’s family name, meaning ’new’ in Danish. It has won many awards and became a permanent feature in the MOMA collection in 1970. Some wear to their metal frames, fading and slight marks to the canvas seats which have had some basic repairs to the corners.
