About this vintage design furniture

Set of 6 danish Boomerang chairs designed by Alfred Christensen and manufactured by Slagelse in the 1950s, model n°370. 2 chairs have been reupholstered exactly like the orignal model. All in very good condition.

About the designer

Alfred CHRISTENSEN

Alfred Christensen (1903-1980) was an American industrial designer best known for his work for the Knoll furniture company in the 1940s and 1950s. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
