About this vintage design furniture
Set of 6 chairs model no. 350 designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen and produced by Søborg Møbelfabrik, Denmark, in the 1960’s. The chairs are made of teak and feature a seat and backrest made of woven cane seat. In very good vintage condition. Two of the chairs have small reparations of the cane seat (see close-up photos).

About the designer
Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN
Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
