Rare Hiemstra Evolux 8619 ST floor lamp model intended by N.J. Hiemstra Evolux in the 1960s. Two bulbs separately activatable by means of two switches. About the designer
Niek Hiemstra
Niek Hiemstra is a Dutch designer born in 1960. He studied product design at the Groningen Academy of Fine Arts in the Netherlands, graduating in 1984. After working for a few years as a freelance designer, Hiemstra joined the Gispen product design company in 1988.
