About this vintage design furniture
Chair bow wood N 2, edited by Steiner of the 1950s, design Wilhelm Von Bode. The base is one-piece, curved solid Ash. The seat is covered with red leatherette. armchair has armrests wide spatulas. Frame wood, horsehair of the seat and the springs are in good condition. Pleather is only to change. A buffer under a foot is missing. The piece is signed.

About the designer
Wilhelm VON BODE
Wilhelm von Bode was a German art historian and collector, born on December 10, 1845 in Calvörde and died on March 1, 1929 in Berlin. He is best known for his work as director of the Berlin Museum (now the Bode Museum), where he organized several important exhibitions and acquired numerous works of art for the museum's collection.
