Vintage blue 2-seater sofa in teak by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard for France & Daverkosen. This model 451 features a typical 1950’s Danish design, a lovely combination of teak wood and rattan and new high quality blue fabric upholstery. The sofa can easily be converted into a bed by folding out the teak and rattan sidesarm rests.

About the designer
Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN
Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
