Vintage Danish 3-seater sofa or daybed in teak by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard Nielsen for France & Son from the 1950s. Model Minerva. A teak wooden frame and renewed green-brown upholstery. The minimalist look of this sofa is characteristic for the Scandinavian design of that era and can easily fit any contemporary interior. The sofa has its original label mark. H.Seat 46 cm.

About the designer
Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN
Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
