Vintage German coffee table in marble and aluminium by Herbert Hirche for Christian Holzäpfel from the 1960s. This minimalist high-end coffee table features an oval marble top and feet made of cast aluminum. The piece shows a unique marble texture. Its characteristic elegant aluminium feet have a brushed finish. Light wear consistent with age and use, slightly chipped edge, minor scratches.

Herbert HIRCHE
Herbert Hirche was a German industrial designer born on April 16, 1910 in Spickendorf and died on April 29, 2002 in Stuttgart. He studied architecture at Stuttgart University and began his career working for the architect Le Corbusier in Paris in 1933.
