About this vintage design furniture
Designed by Coen de Vries, manufactured by Everest in the Netherlands. This small wooden desk is a wonderful find of Dutch design. It combines shapes, materials and colours in a lovely way that creates a typical midcentury Dutch style. It has black wooden X-shaped legs, a wooden frame holding two yellow drawer units and a white grey laminated wooden top.

About the designer
Coen DE VRIES
Coen de Vries was a Dutch industrial designer, born in 1918 and died in 2004. He studied at the Amsterdam School of Arts and Crafts and worked for various design companies, including Gispen, Spectrum and Pilastro.
