Set of 4 vintage stools by Jean Prouvé. A later reissue by Vitra, and in a beautiful colour The bar stools, model “Tabouret Haut”. Deep brown wood with a red lacquered metal ring. They remain in good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. From the 2000s.

About the designer
Jean PROUVE
1901 - 1984Jean Prouvé (1901-1984) was a French designer and builder. Born in Nancy, he began working in his father's iron workshop before studying art and design at the École de Nancy. In the 1920s, he began designing metal furniture and founded his own company, Ateliers Jean Prouvé, in 1923.
