About this vintage design furniture
This dining set is a great example of the radical Bauhaus aesthetic. What makes the design of these chairs distinctive is the way the seat is supported by two horizontal tubular bars so that the design looks effortless with no visible screws. This system was actually registered as a Czechoslovakian patent. This set was produced in 1930’s by Vichr a Spol. in Czechoslovakia. 4 chairs and 1 table.
