About this vintage design furniture
This floor lamp, Japanese-inspired, was created by Holm Sorensen and produced in Denmark by Sorensen & Co in the 1960s. The foot is in black lacquered metal, the stem is in teak and brass and Lampshade in paper. This rare floor lamp is in remarkable condition.

About the designer
Henning SORENSEN
Henning Sorensen was a Danish designer known for his elegant, modern furniture. Born in 1926, Sorensen began his career as an apprentice in a Copenhagen carpentry workshop. He went on to work for leading Danish furniture manufacturers such as Fritz Hansen and Fredericia Furniture.
