About this vintage design furniture
Floor lamp produced in the 1970s for Artemide by Richard Sapper. Base, arms, diffuser and counterweights in black painted metal. Red plastic parts. Floor version, with column to which the lamp is fixed. Good general condition, some signs due to normal use over time. Dimensions: Diameter 11 cm - Height 189 cm.

About the designer
Richard SAPPER
1932 - 2015Richard Sapper was a German industrial designer who was born in Munich in 1932 and died in Milan in 2015. After studying engineering in Munich, he worked for several design companies, including Mercedes-Benz and Siemens, before becoming an independent designer in the 1960s.
