About this vintage design furniture
Raak Fuga wall light designed by the Finnish architect Maija Liisa Komulainen in 1964. This is the slotted and fluted version of this light in aluminum (anodized). Considering the age this vintage wall lamp is in very good condition, some small scratches. This is an 3 tube unit for six lamps of 40 W. Source: Raak catalog 6 page 6.7 and 8. Marked: Raak, Amsterdam.

Maija Liisa KOMULAINEN
Maija Liisa Komulainen was a Finnish designer who was born in 1932 and died in 2019. She studied at the Helsinki School of Art and Design before starting her career as a textile designer for the Finnish company Tampella.
