Helmut MAGG

agg worked for several advertising agencies before founding his own design studio in 1960. He quickly made a name for himself in the design of objects, furniture and household appliances. His collaboration with Braun, where he worked closely with the renowned designer Dieter Rams, was particularly fruitful.

Magg's most famous creations include the SK4 radio-gramophone, also known as "Snow White's Coffin", and the Braun 5564 electric shaver. His designs are often characterized by functional simplicity, formal clarity and attention to detail.

Over the years, Magg has received numerous awards for his achievements in the field of design, including the Gold Medal of the City of Milan in 1957 and the German Industry Prize in 1961. His contribution to design has been widely recognized, and he is regarded as one of the pioneers of German industrial design.
