1960s chest of drawers. Design by John & Sylvia Reid for Stag and retailed through Heals. This unit is part of their Concord range of bedroom furniture. Storage comprising of a large cupboard and 3 graduated drawers, one of them decorated with vintage optical design. Good condition.

About the designer
John REID
John and Sylvia Reid were a British design couple known for their contribution to modern design in the UK in the 1950s and 1960s. John Reid was born in 1918 in Newcastle upon Tyne and studied sculpture at the city's School of Fine Arts. Sylvia Reid, born in Glasgow in 1917, studied painting at the Glasgow School of Art.
