About this vintage design furniture
Minimalistic and rare metal shelving unit. Designed by the Dutch Modernist Wim Rietveld for the Dutch department store ’De Bijenkorf’, around 1960. The bookcase or room divider was designed after the wooden bookcase designed by his father Gerrit Rietveld in the 1930s. The shelving unit stands on its own, double sided.
