About this vintage design furniture
Georg Jensen rocking chair model no. 97. The Tønder Møbelværk from Denmark produced the Kubus collection in 1958. The iconic Danish rocking chair is reupholstered in burgundy. The fabric is from Kobe; Borana color number 19. The frame is made out of teak and is in excellent condition. There is an invisible counter weight in the base of the rocking chair, in order to make the chair more compact.

About the designer
Georg JENSEN
Georg Jensen was a Danish designer known for his work in the field of gold and silverware. Born in 1866 in Raadvad, a small town north of Copenhagen, he began his career as an apprentice jeweler with a local silversmith at the age of 14.
