About this vintage design furniture
Coffee table signed Robert and Roger Thibier wrought iron gilded with gold leaf from 1960. The quality of workmanship is superb, the base of wrought iron gilded with gold leaf must weigh about 20kg. The patina of the gold leaf is beautiful, which gives it all its charm. The glass top is original, and in a very good condition.

About the designer
Robert THIBIER
Robert Thibier was a French designer and decorator who was born in La Rochelle in 1932 and died in Paris in 2008. He began his career in the 1950s, working for the famous designer Pierre Paulin. He then opened his own design and decoration studio in 1960.
