About this vintage design furniture
This pendant was made by Hiemstra Evolux in the 1960s. It is made of black metal with a glass ring that creates a beautiful contrast. It emits a beautiful light, softly diffused through the ring, which gives it a perfect finishing touch. This is Dutch design at its best The lamp remains in very good condition.

About the designer
Niek Hiemstra
Niek Hiemstra is a Dutch designer born in 1960. He studied product design at the Groningen Academy of Fine Arts in the Netherlands, graduating in 1984. After working for a few years as a freelance designer, Hiemstra joined the Gispen product design company in 1988.
