About this vintage design furniture
The 366 armchair is an icon of the Polish design of the PRL period. The armchair was designed in 1962 by the Polish furniture designer Jozef Marian Chierowski. Produced in the Lower Silesian Furniture Factory in Swiebodzice. The chair has a simple, modernist form. It consists of an upholstered seat combined with a wooden backrest. The organic shape is typical of the 1960s style.

Józef CHIEROWSKI
1927 - 2007Chierowski was a Polish designer and architect, born in 1927 and died in 1990. He is best known for his work in the 1950s and 1960s, when modernist design was very much in vogue in Poland.
