About this vintage design furniture

This set of two RH-304 chairs was designed by Robert Haussmann and manufactured in Switzerland by de Sede during the 1960s. The set is upholstered in black leather with buttons. The frames are made of chrome-plated steel. This items are in original vintage condition and have some traces of age.

About the designer

Robert HAUSSMANN

Robert Haussmann is a Swiss designer born in Basel in 1931. He studied architecture at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETHZ) before turning to design. In 1959, he founded the Gruppe 3 interior design and architecture studio in Zurich, together with architects Fritz Haller and Rudolf Schlatter.
