Jacques QUINET

He began his career in the 1940s working for the furniture company L'Équipement de la Maison, where he designed modern furniture using materials such as steel, glass and leather. He then opened his own design studio in Paris in the 1950s, where he created furniture for prestigious clients such as the Louvre and the Maison de la Radio.

His creations are characterized by clean lines, simple geometric shapes and the use of high-quality materials. He has also worked with skilled craftsmen to create unique, bespoke pieces of furniture.

Jacques Quinet has won several awards for his work, including the Grand Prix de la Triennale de Milan in 1957 and the Médaille d'or de la Société des artistes décorateurs in 1966. Today, his creations are considered icons of French design from the 1950s and 1960s, and are highly prized by collectors and design enthusiasts alike.
