About this vintage design furniture
This desk was designed by Cees Braakman in the 1950s for Pastoe. It features scissor like legs, bent plywood frame and anti dust drawers. There is a small bookshelf on the other side. The desk has been painted in the past, which has been removed. The veneer at the top has also been damaged in the past, probably from over-sanding. The desk has been recently relacquered, with a birch veneer.
