About this vintage design furniture
Sideboard in solid teak with a bank of five drawers and tambour door. Finger- jointed case on round legs. Designed by Hvidt and Mølgaard for Søborg Møbler in 1958. Made in Denmark. Great original condition.

About the designer
Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN
Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
