About this vintage design furniture
This copper pendant with an amber blown glass insert was designed by Finnish designer Nanny Still in the 1960s. It was manufactured by Raak Amsterdam. Nanny Still-McKinney (1926-2009) was a well-known Finnish lighting designer who worked for prestigious companies such as Riihimäki Lasi in the 1950s and later for Raak Amsterdam in the 1960s.

About the designer
Nanny STILL
Nanny Still was a Finnish designer born in 1926 and died in 2009. She studied at the Central School of Arts and Crafts in Helsinki and began her career in the 1940s working for the famous Finnish glass company Riihimäen Lasi.
