About this vintage design furniture
Since Frank Ligtelijn designed his Globe series for Raak in the early 60s, the idea of a spherical lamp shade stayed a recurring source of inspiration for the company’s design team. These playful glass balloons are like fine jewelry, encased in a precious ring. The bubbles in the glass obscure the image of the bulbs, making them look more like lively flames that spread a warm glow.
