About this vintage design furniture
Set of six ’Lollipop’ dining chairs. Produced by Tatra in former Czechoslovakia, circa 1960. Designed by Frantisek Jirak in the shape of a flat lollipop. Backrest and seat are slightly curved and in walnut veneer with shiny lacquered finish. Wooden base in dark palisander color. Original green upholstery, can be used with or without the cushion. Great vintage condition.

About the designer
Frantisek JIRAK
František Jiránek (1898-1978) was a Czech designer who worked in the 1920s and 1930s. He is best known for his work in furniture design, but also designed objects in glass and ceramics.
