Scandinavian ceramics, low bowl model ARU made by Gunnar Nylund for Rorstrand. Fur glaze of brown and ocher hare. The "R" of the signature is crossed out, which means that the vase has a cooking defect: a small cooking bubble on the inner wall.

About the designer
Gunnar NYLUND
Gunnar Nylund (1904-1997) was a Swedish designer known for his contributions to the Scandinavian ceramics industry. Born in Paris, Nylund spent his childhood in France and studied sculpture at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. In 1925, he returned to Sweden and began working in the ceramics industry in Upsala-Ekeby.
