About this vintage design furniture
Beautiful pair of twisted Lucite and gold candleholders. These ’pretzel’ shaped candleholders are a modernist icon. Dorothy Thorpe was a Pioneer in using this transparent acrylic material, experimenting with it since the early 1940s. This is truly fascinating as this design evokes a much more contemporary feel. They are in very good condition.
