About this vintage design furniture
This dining set was designed in Italy by Umberto Mascagni, during the 1950s. The materials used are vinyl and black tapering legs on brass feet, that can be removed. In 1952 Mascagni created a new line of furniture using new materials and was retailed through Harrods, London in the 1950s. Overall in a good vintage condition, with some wear consistent with age and use, preserving a patina.

About the designer
Umberto MASCAGNI
Umberto Mascagni is an Italian designer born in 1948 in Viareggio, Tuscany. He graduated from the Florence Academy of Fine Arts in 1972, where he studied sculpture and painting. After graduating, he worked as an industrial designer for several Italian companies.
