René Fumeron is a French artist and decorator of non-leaded stained glass and tapestries. He is renowned for his rapid, spontaneous and sensual approach of the themes he evocated.
This painter-cartonnier based his work and his realization around one subject: nature. Water, fire and vegetations are recurring elements of his creations. His work is a reflection of a real sensibility and a taste for precision. Biography René Fumeron was born in a small town in France in 1921. During his youth, he moved to Paris because of the work of his father, a Health Administration Officer. He has developed a passion for painting and has known a real notoriety thanks to the non-leaded stained glass and tapestries he realized. He organized Biennials, he created posters for the International Folklore Festival but he also worked for public purchasing and for private individuals. He was also one of the artists who participated to the tapestries creations for the apartment of the liner France.
