Vintage oakwood and walnut lowboard, 1930

An elegant sideboard from the 1930s with a combined oak and walnut veneer in the art deco style. The top, sides and wide doors are veneered with oak, while all the rounded edges around the top and in the outer parts of the doors are walnut. A very nice and rare combination. The sideboard is relatively small but very capacious. It has undergone a thorough renovation. Old varnish coatings have been removed and the whole thing has been secured with hard oil, thanks to which the wood grains have become more expressive and the surface is resistant to moisture.
