About this vintage design furniture

Set of chairs by Eero Saarinen for the UNESCO headquarters in Paris. Designed in 1957, they were produced by the emblematic company Knoll International. This set was commissioned by UNESCO for its auditorium, for which 800 chairs were produced.the designer drew his inspiration directly from one of his previous projects, the "Conference" chair he created for Knoll, a model perfectly suited to work spaces.the structure is composed of a molded backrest in reinforced polyurethane and a plywood seat. The whole is upholstered in a new gray fabric. The sled base is chromed iron.a plate with a UNESCO inventory number is present under each seat.in very good condition, wear consistent with age and use.completely reupholstered in our workshop.
